How easy is the software to setup?
No software setup is required; Awesome Arcade units are preconfigured and preloaded to run automatically once the machines are powered up.

What games are installed?

Awecade units are loaded with 150+ of the best arcades games of all time, including games from Atari, Midway and Digital Leisure. Awesome Arcades is the only arcade company with an exclusive license for Exidy titles. Games including Mousetrap, Venture, Victory and others can only be legally played on Awecades. Game Paks are being constantly revised to offer the best gaming experience and are subject to change without notice. Please contact us for the latest Game Pak news.

How do I add more games?
Awesome Arcades will be selling Add-On Paks in the near future. This may require an update to your HD system. Check the awecades.com site often for News and Updates on available Add-On Paks.

Why are all these software Discs included?
For licensing reasons, the original install discs for games and game rom’s have been included with each Awecade. Unless the internal Awecade Hard Disk is wiped clean of its contents, the included discs cannot be installed onto another computer system as that would constitute a violation of the EULA of each software disc.

How easy is it to setup and use my Awecade?

Awecades were designed to be easy to set up and easy to use. Once you’ve unpacked and positioned your Awecade, connect one end of the the AC power cord

into the power outlet of the game cabinet, then plug the other end into the nearest wall

outlet. Turn the power switch to the ON position. Your Awecade will power-up and

be fully ready to play in approximately 20-30 seconds.

What is Scandisk and why does it come up when I turn on my Awecade?

To ensure the long and reliable enjoyment of your Awecade, the system does a short diagnostic check of the hard disk system once the system is turned on.

What size monitor does the Awecade cabinet come with?
A 21-inch flat tube CRT is used in the current AC-605SP “Arcade Center” and in our EC-701 “Entertainment Center.” The EX-900 “Executive” series houses a large HDTV Display. Our P.A.M. system uses a 17-inch LCD (8ms response time).

If I have trouble after my purchase, how do I get help?
Simply e-mail support@awecades.com. We happily provide e-mail support 7 days a week. Support questions will be replied to within 24 hours, most in a few hours.

What if I can’t resolve my problem via e-mail?
If we cannot fix your problem via e-mail we will give you a case number and details for calling customer support. To keep costs down, phone support is only available after e-mail resolution has been attempted.

Can I install MAME?
If you find that the Awesome Arcades game selection is not adequate for your gaming needs, you can wipe the included hard drive clean or replace it with your own hard drive, install your own OS and MAME. PLEASE NOTE: any changes to the hardware/software of any Awesome Arcades product will void all warrantees and support.

Are MAME ROM’s legal and where can I find them?
Just like some music downloads, not all ROM files are legal to download. Awesome Arcades cannot provide legal advice on ROM copyright issues: please do not ask. Awesome Arcades installs PC Arcade Paks into its machines and includes the original CD’s for your licensing purposes.

Do you ship internationally?
Shipping costs to foreign countries start at $500. Given this, we cannot offer free shipping internationally. However, should anyone want to prepay the shipping costs and duty fees to the country of their choice (provided the USA acknowledges trade with that country and there are no embargo restrictions), we will be happy to accommodate your order. Also, we cannot be held responsible for shipping damage on international orders. Customer assumes all liability for damage on international orders. International Orders take additional time to process and ship. No warrantee or returns can be offered on International shipments.

Can you ship to Canada?
Shipping to Canada can be arranged. Processing and shipment may take an additional week. Shipping costs may be higher than U.S. domestic. Customer agrees to pay all charges and duties over and above domestic shipping charges.

How long will it take to get my Awecade?
We maintain a large volume of pre-built arcades in stock. Most arcades ship within 5 business days from when the order is received. However, if we are experiencing a high number of orders it takes 7-10 business days to ship an Awecade. If we are out of stock, please allow 2 weeks to ship - however, this is rare. The arcade units usually take 1 week from the order date to reach their destination. Lead time announcements are made in the company news section from time to time.

What if my Awecade is damaged during shipment?
Each Awecade is shipped utilizing commercial packaging with additional padding. Our packing insures that the arcade can withstand most abuse encountered during shipment. All Awecades are fully insured, so in the unlikely event that your Awecade is damaged, we will handle the claim. The customer may be required to arrange a time for an inspector to come and inspect damage. After that, we’ll handle everything and ship you a replacement arcade or parts.

Can I order a coin door with my Awecade?
Currently we do not offer a coin door add-on for our arcades. Our pre-installed game paks are set up to not require coin usage.

Do you offer control panel upgrades?
The AC-605SP arcade unit comes with a standard CP-605 2 joystick/12 button layout, with trackball and spinner as standard. Customers interested in further upgrades or add-ons should contact us directly for special requests. In addition, we do plan to offer certain upgrades online in the near future.

Do I need to configure the arcade to use the trackball/spinner?
Our intelligent interface system will automatically sense the trackball/spinner controller and make it ready to use by games that normally play with a trackball, so no configuration is necessary.
